Kristian and Troy's first dive

Our first view of Canadian diver Alexandre Despatie. Oh, I've had a crush on him since the Beijing Games. Only six weeks ago, he hit his head on the board during a practice dive, ripped a wide gash into his scalp, and had to be dragged semi-conscious out of the pool. So even his being here to compete is a feat to be proud of. He and his partner came in 6th.

Olympic Update: Water Polo - Tamás Kásás

Since Team USA only plays a water polo match every other day, and since it's fast become my favoite event, I'll be posting players' pics on off days. We're starting with Tamás Kásás (b. 1976), an HCB I've posted twice already, who plays for Hungary, defeated by the USA yesterday. Tamás, if you need any comforting, all you have to do is ask. I'm there for you.
